Kenneth Lax died May 8, one week after being bludgeoned into a coma in his home at 915 S. Jackson St. Lax, 67, allegedly was robbed during the incident and then beaten. Autopsy results showed Lax died of blunt force trauma.

Police charged Charles Edward Yarbrough, 47, in the crime. A Potter County grand jury later refused to return an indictment against Yarbrough.
